Overview
The Solar Simulator is a controlled light source designed to reproduce sunlight spectral and irradiance conditions for accurate testing of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules. It enables repeatable measurement of I–V characteristics, efficiency, and performance metrics under standardized conditions (AM1.5G), making it indispensable for R&D labs, QA/QC, and educational workshops.
Offered in both continuous and pulsed (flash) configurations with xenon-arc or LED lamp technology, the simulator provides adjustable irradiance, excellent spatial uniformity, and spectral match options to meet IEC / ASTM testing requirements.
